Collaborations with Julian Borrill
Below are several images and a movie based work done with Julian Borrill. These are volume renderings of some the same data visualized in earlier work which can be found at http://crd.lbl.gov/~borrill/defects/semilocal.html along with explanations of the science behind the computations and visualizations. These volume renderings illustrate that the energy being visualized starts out diffuse and then concentrates to form the semilocal strings.
