The goal of this talk is to give a high level view of what Clifford algebras are, what issues they address, and how they have been used. The material is based on a one day tutorial I attended at the IEEE Visualization 1999 conference. That eight hour tutorial was a distillation of work done over the last 150 years and my talk will be a one hour distillation of that! I believe these topics have direct relevance to computer graphics and visualization. I will be motiving and illustrating that claim during my talk. As with all Conundrum Talks, no expertise in this area (Clifford algebras or mathematics!) is expected.
Valentine's Day candy will be provided!
