• 3D dynamic visualization (4D):

  • See varying view points
  • View time varying data
  • Stereographic

• Advantages (in addition to 3D static):

  • Uses people’s intuitive understanding of motion
  • Can portray more aspects of the data

• Disadvantages:

  • Often can’t be published
  • Movies are large and hard to make
  • Motion sickness and stereo blindness
