set_global_extent

Synopsis

Computes the global extent by looping over all the members of a Time_Mesh.

Description

Compute the global extent by looping over all the members of a Time_Mesh looking at at each field's coordinate min and max and computing a summary min and max. This global extent is then then written into the coordinate min and max of each individual member of the Time_Mesh.
